I always say, if you want something done right, do it yourself.  :blah:

Well the owner came in at 230 mad as hell that his name and his name alone was not on all the cards, even though he approved the proof at noon yesterday and I have over 500 of them ready to mail... No he wanted them all redone.

Well, my immediate supervisor told him tough titty, we left you off for a reason... This is called MARKETING, and unless you want to field hundreds of phone calls you will deal with it as is... Because we don't have enough stationary to reprint ANYWAY...

Thank god for her... I would have thrown a shoe at him Lol 2 days of work would have been shot down the drain...

We have one for my classroom.  Our students help with mailings for the school by folding and stuffing.  Great thing for local adults or kids with cognitive disabilities.

Lay out the cost of the folder vs. 2 days worth of labor for everybody that touched it.  Folders are expensive, but they're a hell of a lot cheaper than paying people to do menial tasks instead of revenue generating ones.

amen....i've spent over 45 man hours working on these mailers...

I can't print the cards to our RICO unit because our IT guy isn't ever here to set it up for me from my computer... so I had three printers and three computers running non stop for two days... then there were the envelopes that had to be individually addressed, again, couldn't print them to the RICO...then they all had to be folded, stuffed, sealed...and now stamped...

and I still have about 250 to go...

so 50 hours spent on letters...

how much is a folder? because in JUST my salary you are looking at over 600 bucks and that's w/out the cost of the ink we used and the envelopes I had to redo ....
