Any expectant mother can tell you, it's never to early to start communicating with your child. Besides having extended conversations while baby is in-utero, music has been proven to assist with positive fetal development including displaying "advanced intelligence, coordination, and learning abilities."

There isn't anything in the above quote that didn't make me want to vomit.  20

$129  Shocked

Whoa.  I admit to reading to M for about a month while I was pregnant.  Then I was tired.  I read oh the places you will go in utero version.

M heard an autistic boy screaming and banging his head during the day.  It is a wonder she does not do it herself.

Not only do I not talk to my babies in utero,  I barely talk to them for their first 4 months of life.  I hate feeling like I'm just talking to hear my own voice.

Too funny kapi. I am fine once the baby is born. I yammer on. I think it is from working with individuals who are nonverbal. I just talk to talk

I tried with Sarah, because I thought I had too.  I mostly just said hi alot Grin.  Unless I actually have something to say I have really hard time saying anything.  With Kaleb, Sarah talked to him enough for both of us........ So I just never even bothered trying Cheesy

I used to read out loud to the boys while they were having bottles and such when they were babies. But I admit, it was mostly because I found it really dull otherwise. T took FOREVER to drink a bottle. So I started reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Hobbit, The Chronicles of Narnia, the Little House on the Prairie series, etc. I also would read to him if he was just fussing - I would walk around the house with him in a sling reading out loud until he passed out. Kept me sane. Don't know if it helped him any, but kept me sane...
