I have boxes of photos as well and I've been meaning to create albums for all of them but I find the task daunting. Whats more daunting are the thousands of pics I have of Ava on CD's....how do you choose which ones to print and put in albums? How do you limit?

I don't have a print album for Ryan, most of his photos are digital and any others are framed.  What I've done is I have the majority of his photos on kodak.com, for sharing and I also have them on my computer (of course), backed up on a separate hard drive AND last year I ordered them from Kodak on CD--I had thousands of photos, it was crazy, around $70 but to me it was worth it.  At this point I don't plan to print any and make an album but if I did, I'd probably buy an album first, separate it into sections according to how many photos it will hold and then go find pics to fill those spaces.

It is a daunting task which is why I'm only getting to it now but I've got most of the photos separated at this point into 3 different piles so now I just have to go through them and fill books.  Grin

I never look at electronic photo albums. But I pull out my old school albums and scrapbooked albums fairly often. I'm pretty far behind - I used to be really up to date on all that, but my scrapbooking buddy moved out of state, and I fell out of the habit.

I did fill in a bunch of stuff in their lifebooks lately (sort of like baby books, but they go through high school). Now I just have to remember where the pictures are that go with them...

well. If I can get the basics done around here...like dishes and laundry and what not. I have a couple of "rainy day" projects like sorting through pictures and things I'd like to do while I'm on my maternity leave... but everytime I think about making plans like that it never works out.

I like your idea, buy the albums 1st and then figure out what pics to put in....now I just have to get around to doing that!
