I don't think I've ever had brisket so I'm wondering if yawl think this will be good?  I'd like to make it with the sweet and sour cabbage, too.

Sounds yummy! I also use the slow cooker for corned beef because I'm afraid I will dry it out too much in the oven.

I didn't even look, is that recipe for the slow cooker?  I think that's what I'd want to use anyhow, I'm sure I could adjust it.

What did you end up doing? I'm using this recipe today. Check it out, it sounds yummy. The only thing I'm changing is the cooking temp/time.

I usually just throw everything in the pot and walk away. I never thought of putting beer & mustard in there.  47 I also have to do my potatoes separately.
