NIKE "Jones Beach" shoes

A lot of my friends on FB are raving about these shoes...



and they are not in elementary or HS...these are grown ups, some with kids...

at first I thought that either I'm too old or been away from NY too long   

then I remember that I'm from Queens and I'm not stupid enough like the Long Island boys to pop $100 bucks on a pair of "summer" sneakers...

I submitted a design idea to NIKE for the Gulf Coast version...it's basically the same as JB one but instead of a map under the sole, it's an oil blob and the canvas had orange dots to symbolize the tar balls...

I'm waiting to hear back what they think...if they approve it, you'll be the first ones to get the limited edition...
