Any body else watch this?  We watched the second episode tonight, and now we have to go and watch the pilot.  It was really good, and it is much better than watching reruns.

All double talk. All the time.

I haven't watched it yet Monice, but I promise I will, if only just to make the words "Celine Dion" disappear from the top of this thread.  Wink

Okay, I'm hooked. The pacing is a little slow, but it's good (squee for Dualla from BSG showing up as the convict).

I've been watching it via On Demand and watched epi 6 last week...and then it disappeared from the lineup. I get frustrated when Comcast does that.

I'm hooked!  I got behind and had to watch 4 episodes in a row which got me right back into the swing of things.

So...why do you think they were all 'chosen'?  Or are they really dead and in 'purgatory'?  And who is the mastermind?

Hm. We have a bunch of people whi have nothing to live for, save the main girl. A few realize(d) they have a second chance at life.

I think that it's like Saw because the whole time is a process of survival, endurance, atonement, and rediscovering the value of life. The only person who doesn't fit that is the main character.

Now, I don't know who's behind it, but I believe that Joe and the Chinese agent had earlier been through the same conditioning process.

Has she revealed what she was in prison for?  Or did I miss that?

They didn't say.

I do believe that the ambassador asked for his daughter, Tori, to be taken into the program. I also am not convinced that the Corporation had her killed.

Did anyone else notice the paintings over the beds? I think they m$ean something...the more people are catching on, the les 'pixillated' they seem. For example, Joe's had more lines than squares.

Just me? Ok then. Wink

Weird.

When Joe said that Janet was his vocation, it reminded me of a line from Hemingway's The Sun Also Rises: You are my religion.

Cool.

We have gotten caught up in baseball fever, so I haven't gotten to watch it in ages.  I figure that I'm going to catch up next week while I recuperate.

I didn't mean to be too spoilery. Each episode could almost be a standalone, which could be good to draw folks in as it continues.

It's a gajillion times better than last year's Harper's Island.
