was it a strip joint / strippers though? pole dancing is taught and done at a lot of gyms here and people that have never worked as exotic dancers do it for fitness . Aerobic dance champions in the 80's sometimes wore very little clothes and lots of makeup at competitions .
We have a boat here that offers pole dancing classes/ ladies nights out ..would be funny to watch some sea sick drunk school  mums  trying to pole dance on a boat
My only issue is when the fitness places start offering pole dancing classes for children .

I have no idea if any of those particular girls were/are strippers, but regardless, pole dancing has been done by exotic dancers far before it ever became a 'fitness craze'.  Wink  Not to mention they were all wearing 'stripper shoes'.  I can't imagine those are necessary for fitness.  Grin

Awesome, um dancers. Really.

But the last time I was in a strip club (1988), it was bored skanky Canadian girls. Totally unsexy. Apparently, now that they're using cracked out Eastern Bloc women brought here by the Russian mob in the new slave trade, they are much better looking. But the SHRI  (strippers human rights index) has plummeted. It was that band of mooks, The Bloodhound Gang, who sang "the lap dance is better when the stripper is crying." (insert bitter ironic smiley here).
