We have a box with all of our wedding stuff in it.  The candles, candle holder, cake cutter  :blah:

Right now I feel like it's taking up space.  We're never going to use it again and it's not like I'm going to display it or take it out and look at it.  I'm debating giving it away.

Did you keep the stuff your wedding?

I don't have anything but the cake topper, and that is it.

OMG hahahaha.  That sucks.  We don't even have a video.  But seriously, it's not like I'm gonna hand anything down to my kids.  It's not gonna be in very good shape 20 years from now.   Cheesy

I think I still have my dress but can't remember, I bought it for $35.99 at a department store.  We did the justice of the peace thing.  So no, I don't have all that stuff and I'm glad I don't.  Wink

We rented all our stuff from handyman.  I have my dress and the cake toppers (they were smurfs Cheesy )  But I have friends who've passed wedding decor around between them for 3 or 4 weddings now.  IMO it's like baby stuff, it gets used for such a short amount of time and is so expensive that it just makes sense to keep passing it along to the next person who needs/wants it.

I am such a sentimental fool. Someone lost my bouquet (which I was going to have dried) and cake top was broken last year in storage, so I just incorporated a bunch of stuff into my decor, including some silk cherry blossom trees.

If you're really getting rid of it, consider donating it to a church or community bazaar/flea market for another bride to find...

the stuff she was getting rid of last night were invitation reply cards with dinner options...it would have to be one lucky bride to have the exact same selections... Grin
