I may have to buy another one.  Last night he mentioned his ear hurting.  I DO NOT want to deal with ear infections. Angry

I've had 2 as an adult.

I cried.  A lot. Both times. And I don't cry from physical pain. (I didn't cry in either labor until they were crowning, put it that way)

It's really an AWFUL feeling. Nothing makes it stop. Except a good pain killer and a shit ton of antibiotics.

Always a good idea to get the ears looked into after most colds anyway as not all ear infections hurt.
Bella had 3 lots of grommets before the age of three and now has some permanent hearing loss due to middle ear infections ,lot of Drs don't like prescribing antibiotics for ear infections and say they will go away on own (except when they don't and turn into middle ear infection..Grr). some of her ear infections would go unnoticed as would not have pain , so for every cold i had to drag her in to be checked. often could not be picked up by hearing tests as it would only be certain tones she could not hear .
with the next two, i remind Drs of the family history and insist on antibiotic drops at first sign of ear issues .

So come on kids ..Blow already :)
